My trip to the Holy Land was awesome! Fantastic! Better than I could have ever anticipated.
More details to come to the blog eventually (I hope).
But in the meantime, here's concrete (facetious) proof that it really is the Holy Land:
No dogs allowed, and the whole place is crawling with cats!
Not mangy strays, but dignified and respected queens.
I guess maybe they have a feline reverence carried over from near neighbor Egypt?
Don't know for sure, but I thought it was amazing!

And I missed getting a picture of about a dozen cats together at a gas station one night,
because I was too slow and it was too dark, oh well.

I think you get the idea that there are a fair number of felines in Israel.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they probably don't have much of a rodent problem.
