And I looked and saw the all the yard work I'd been procrastinating, the seemingly endless cascade of leaves I hadn't kept up with. So, I started off on an explanation voicing my
guilty conscience: “I know, I know, I need to rake the leaves, I’ve
been putting it off, haven’t gotten out there in a couple weeks etc, etc….”
That stopped short my ramble of weak excuses. Oh sweet Bubba, you don’t see a yard full of work, and you aren’t judging my laziness. You are simply appreciating and discovering a wonderful world. Thank you for the reminder to stop and see the beauty.
Yes Bubba, you are right. It is pretty. And so are you.
